Our focus is on preventive medicine, acute conditions, and managing ongoing or chronic illness. We schedule same-day appointments when you are ill. Our receptionist will ask you a few questions to help set up the right timing for your needs. Regular office visits are scheduled for 15 minutes. But if you have more than one or two things to discuss, please ask for extra time when you schedule. That helps keep us on time and minimizes wait time for all patients.
Call us to make an appointment
MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS: Please notify us 24 hours in advance if you must cancel. That allows us to give the appointment to another patient who needs it. Because of our open access scheduling, it is important that our patients keep their scheduled appointment times. Our missed appointment charge is $35, which we don’t enforce in inclement weather. Your safety is of utmost importance to us. Drive safely!
AESTHETIC & LASER PROCEDURES: Last minute cancellations and no shows for Aesthetic and Laser procedures will be charged 1/2 of the service price of the treatment. If you have a pre-pay account or package, the cancellation fee will be deducted from your account.
We understand that no one plans for a medical emergency, so we provide 24 hour accessibility. If you need medical care after hours, please call our main office line (734) 475-2921 and leave a message for your physician. We ask that you only use this service for emergencies (not to change an appointment or request a prescription refill). In case of chest pain, high fever or acute injury you should go directly to the emergency room.
There may be times when we need to send you to a specialist. It is our pleasure to help you with this process, however it is your responsibility to understand your insurance coverage and benefits. For many insurance companies, it can take up to 2 weeks to receive authorization for special procedures or an office visit with a specialist. We ask that you allow enough time to get the necessary authorizations or you may be financially liable. There may be times when this process can be expedited, however, please note that our referral clerk is only in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays.
If you are in need of a medication refill you are required to be seen at least 1-2 times a year and sometimes more frequently. Based on our contracts with insurance companies we will require an office visit for assessment and treatment. Please call our office during business hours and have the following information available: name of medication, dosage, instructions, and name of your pharmacy. If you do not provide this information, your refill will not be done. All refills are done by close of business.
Based on our contracts with insurance companies we will require an office visit for assessment and treatment. Under special circumstances we may be able to provide medical services through the telephone but your insurance may be billed for telephone services. You are responsible for any service not covered by your insurance.
Lab and Test Results
All results will be mailed to your home after they have been reviewed by the prescribing doctor. This can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on where you have your testing done. If results come back that require immediate attention or follow-up, you will receive a call from the office.
